Wyoming

The 44th state in the USA, admitted on July 10, 1890.

When Wyoming territory was organized in 1869, women were afforded the right to vote making them the first in the nation. As the first state to elect a woman as governor in 1925, the nickname "Equality State" seems well suited. Mining, oil and natural gas are Wyoming's most important industries, but they also rank high in wool production, sheep and lambs, and cattle. Main crops include wheat, oats, sugar beets, corn, barley and alfalfa. With Yellowstone and, Grand Teton National Park, Jackson Hole National Monument, and Devils Tower. There are over 18 million acres of public land with many opportunities to fish, hike, hunt or just enjoy the view.
