Tennessee is located in the southern United States, and is divided constitutionally and geographically into three Grand Divisions: East Tennessee, Middle Tennessee, and West Tennessee. Tennessee was the 36th and final state needed to ratify the Nineteenth Amendment to the U.S. Constitution, granting women the right to vote. As of 2005 it was the United States's 18th largest economy with a GSP of $226.5 billon.
